Description:

The “The Last Ronin” game is an upcoming action-RPG based on the comic book series of the same name, featuring the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

The game will adapt the dark and gritty storyline of the comic, where only one of the Turtles survives to seek revenge for the deaths of his brothers and sensei. Players will experience a post-apocalyptic New York City, battling enemies and uncovering the mystery behind the tragic events.

Responsibilities:

  • Owning the level design process for multiple key levels from concept to dressed versions. including :
    • Initial ideas, discussions and references gathering;
    • Greyboxing and iterations;
    • Scripting the mission flow and combat;
  • Defining level design metrics for the game;
  • Prototyping level and game mechanics;
  • Leading level design process from concept to final;
  • Providing actionable, constructive feedback to the level design team;
  • Authoring and maintaining clear documentation and design guidelines to provide clarity and alignment across all teams;
  • Organizing internal playtests; assessing and implementing actionable feedback to improve design quality;
